National Scrapbooking Day

Hey Everyone!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day Everyone!  How about we start the day off with a CHALLENGE!  Here are the details: 

 

• use the color GREEN it can be any shade.  You may use any other colors of  your choice. 
• make something in remeberance of someone this person/pet could be passed on, or make something for someone who has made a difference in your life. 
• use ONE butterfly & TWO to THREE flowers (handmade or store bought). 
• LINK your project so we can all see what you have created & so others can follow your blog!

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I have been gone for awhile.  Life has been getting crazy again.  I know that many of you have heard that Lynn (Lynnk1970 on YouTube) and her daughter Kaylene were murdered by Peter Keller (Lynn's husband).  Lynn was a beautiful woman, she was also a GREAT friend.   She has touched so many lives and she will be greatly missed.  So in memory of Lynn I am asking that you would brighten someone's day by telling them how much they mean to you, giving/making them a card, give them flowers, make them something, send them a little note/email, the possibilities are endless...  Lynn always went out of her way to make people happy. 

On May 5, 2012 is Lynn & Kaylene's Memorial service.  It also happens to be National Scrapbooking Day...  So in Memory of Lynn & Kaylene  I will be doing some sort of project that has to do with remembering those who were taken from us far too soon.  If you would like to join me I would love to see what you come up with.  The project could be a card, handmade flowers, a mini album, or it could be something that gets you to think outside of the box & gets you out of your comfort zone.  I will try to get a thing where we can link our projects so that everyone can see what you come up with.  If you join me in this special project all I ask is that you make something in memory of someone who has made a difference in your life (it could be someone who is still here with us or someone who has passed away, or even a pet who has passed away). 

I normally do errands on Friday/Saturday so I'm not sure when my post will be up, but I will try my best to have it up by Wednesday, May 9th, 2012.

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for not posting as much as I would like to. Life has been getting in the way. I have been crafting. I will be posting pictures shortly of what I have been making. I have been on a mini album kick lately so you will be seeing ALOT of them on my blog soon as well as my YouTube channel!

Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been away from my blog for so long. I had some more family emergencies (seems to be happening a lot these days). There are some fun things that I have planned for my blog starting in January, so I hope you will stay tuned for that! Are you all excited for Christmas? I am looking forward to spending time with my mom & grandma on Sunday! I'm also looking forward to Tuesday (it's my birthday).

Hair Accessories/Update

Hi Crafters!

I'm sorry for not posting in a while.  I had a few family emergencies that came up so life got put on hold for awhile.  I have been making tons of hair accessories.  Especially for football season.  The Packer hair accessories I've been making have been selling like hot cakes and I'm almost out of green ribbon for them!  And HL is out of the ribbon right now!

Quick Update

Hi Friends,

Just wanted to post a quick update.  I am still working on my 'Stamp Binder'.  I didn't realize how many stamps I have & I have more that are in other containers.  I also took a storage box and I made it into a photo storage box (I will post pictures soon).  Also Charlie Knuth will be going home soon!  That is such good news to hear!

Stamp Binder

Hi Friends,

Hope this post is finding you all doing well.  I just wanted to write a quick post and let you know what I have been up to.  This past weekend I was at a conference & didn't get any crafting done.  Yesterday I started a "Stamp Binder".  I will post pics when I am finished.  I am hoping to have it finished by Friday. 

On another note, Charlie's birthday was on Monday & he got a private party at Build a Bear.  Here is a link to that update on his CaringBridge site.

Sorry I have been away for so long.  I have been sick and I have had to help get ready for a conference that my church is having this weekend.  I hope you are all doing well.  I will have some projects coming up.  I would like to know what you all would like to see on my blog (as projects, and or posts)... 

Quick update on Charlie Knuth:  He is doing sooooo much better!  Charlie's birthday is on Monday, March 14th.  If any of you want feel free to send him a birthday card (sorry for the short notice).

New Toy!!

Hi Craft friends!

I got a new toy!  I got a GYPSY!!  I am soooo excited to start playing around with it once I get it updated and everything.  I will be posting lots of new things shortly.  Thanks for understanding that I couldn't post for a few days.  My uncle was rushed into the hospital last week due to a stroke.  Then I fell on some ice at my house and hurt my hand pretty bad so it's been pretty hard to craft.  My hand is doing better though so I am hoping to be back to crafting shortly.
