New Toy!!

Hi Craft friends!

I got a new toy!  I got a GYPSY!!  I am soooo excited to start playing around with it once I get it updated and everything.  I will be posting lots of new things shortly.  Thanks for understanding that I couldn't post for a few days.  My uncle was rushed into the hospital last week due to a stroke.  Then I fell on some ice at my house and hurt my hand pretty bad so it's been pretty hard to craft.  My hand is doing better though so I am hoping to be back to crafting shortly.

Hi Crafters! 

Hope you all had a FAB weekend!  I know I did!  The Packers WON the Super Bowl!  Anyways, today I will be going to Lambeau Field to welcome home our PACK!!! I will be taking TONS of pictures and I will be making a special Super Bowl scrapbook with the pics I take.  I will post pictures later on tonight or tomorrow morning of the festivities this afternoon!

Update on Charlie!

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to post an update on Charlie.  I took this from his CaringBridge site!  Thank you ALL for sending him cards!  If you want to send him more feel free to send more cards!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

This picture says it all!  Charlie sat up this morning and started talking.  I got to hold him and he hugged me.  Daddy got hugs and so did his "girl."  His white blood count shot up to 4.1 without any GCSF meds and so did his neutrophils.  Meds are slowly being wheened after Charlie being completely "snowed" yesterday from dilaudid, fentynal, and a whole bunch of other stuff.  It was so good to hear his voice again.  He even talked to his grammy on the phone.  I showed him all the beautiful hand-made cards that are being sent to him from all over the United States.  Then, it was "lights out" for him.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Hi Friends!

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL weekend!  I sure had a great weekend!  Did any of you craft this weekend?  I was planning on crafting/cleaning my craft space but I ended up getting side tracked so I didn't get much done this weekend.  I am still working on a special project for my friend, Carolanne (sorry it's taking me forever to get it done).  I will post pictures of it when I am finished with it!  Yesterday, I went to church & we had an AMZING service...went out to eat with some AMAZING people & came home to watch the PACKER vs. BEARS game!  It was a nail bitting game until the very last second!  I am happy to say that the PACKERS are going to the SUPER BOWL!!!!!  I am really excited that we get to go to the Super Bowl this year. 

I am not going to be posting any haul videos anytime soon, because I have TONS & TONS of craft items to use.  So until my stock piles dwindle down I will not be getting ANY craft items unless its something like adhesive or pop dots!  Will any of you join me & Carolanne in this no shopping challenge?!?  It's going to be tough but I think if we do it together we can make it!  I have already broke and have gotten 3 Cricut Lite carts., but no more craft shopping for this girl! 

Well I have to get going.  I need to start making dinner (making marinated chicken with loaded baked potatoes)...  Have a GREAT day!

Hi Crafters!

I just wanted to let you know that I will be MIA tomorrow through Sunday!  I have LOTS of projects I need to get done over the next few days.  I will be hoping on the net to check my mail and FB quick.  So if you need to get intouch with me you can email me or send me a message on FB.  Sunday I don't think I will be on at all due to going to church in the morning and then coming home to watch football!  I am a die hard Packer fan & I will be screaming at the TV come Sunday!  GO PACK GO!

I will try to do a tour of my craft space soon.  I am trying to get things organized right now, so that might be up sometime next week.  I am also working on some mini's.  If you have any tips on paper bag albums or mini's in general, please leave me a comment!  Speaking of comments; thank you all for leaving me such wonderful comments.  I have been to every single one of your blogs & I have loved the cards you have posted for Charlie! 

Also please leave me a comment if you would like to have some challenges/sketches on the blog!  Let me know what you guys want to see on here!  I am kinda nervous about doing tutorials so I will be trying to work on that (when I get nervous I talk really fast and you can't understand me).
